Sunday an Orange Police Officer saw a man walking who had outstanding warrants so he tried to stop him.
The chase started near O’Reilly’s on 16th Street. The officer ordered the man to stop but he ran down Church Street. Support was called in, including the K-9 Unit from the Sheriff’s Dept. and the man surrendered after hiding in the Craig Homes area.
Demall James King, 37, was arrested for evading as well as warrants for assault, cruelty to animals, and theft.
