
Softball begins the third round of the playoffs and baseball will be in the second round this week. Besides facing tough opponents the weather service is calling for 40-50% chance of hit and miss rain all week.
Five teams from Orange County are still in the playoffs. As of Sunday everyone but Orangefield softball has certified their series and OF is expected to do that Monday.
UPDATE: The Orangefield Lady Bobcats will take on the Central Pollok Lady Dogs in the regional quarterfinal round this week. All games will be in Jasper.
Game 1: Thursday, May 11 at 6:30. (Orangefield is the home team)
Game 2: Friday, May 12 at 7:30. (Central is the home team)
Game 3 (if necessary): Saturday, May 13 at 2:00. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Coaching passes and senior citizen passes will be accepted.
Other match ups for the rest of OC are listed below. Also playing this week will be 3A-Woodville vs Boling, 4A-Silsbee vs Spring Hill and in SOFTBALL, 4A-Hamshire-Fannet vs Bullard.
Also Orange native Sam Moore has his Sulphur Tors in the Louisiana semifinals and Sulphur will be hosting the State Tournament. The Tors will face Barbe in one semifinal Thursday afternoon. You can see the schedule here.
