Friday night was a rough night for the Deweyville Pirates. They lost the game to Hull-Daisetta 37-14 and also lost Lance Wilhelm for the rest of the season. The Pirates never gave up after being down 22-0 at the half. In the second half Cade Watson had a pick six on a tipped ball to cut the score 22-8. The Bobcats responded to go 30-8. The Pirates answered with a TD pass to Skyler Beane for 58 yards from QB Keevin Gordon to make score 30-14 and that was as close as the Pirates would get. Next week the Pirates travel to Groveton with kickoff set for 7:00PM.
