Phillip E Moore was called to Heaven on October 15, 2019 surrounded by the love of his family and the grace of God. Born June 27, 1945 in Milam, Texas. Known by friends and neighbors as “Mo” the Gas Man, he will be truly missed and his memories cherished by his loved ones.
Phillip graduated in 1964 under Dragon Fire and enjoyed playing tennis. He worshiped at Salem United Methodist Church and dedicated himself to Entex for twenty five years. Never once did Phillip meet a stranger. He approached new folks as new friends and had a contagious smile, never afraid to start a conversation, never afraid to know someone new.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Jacqueline Moore, with whom he shared over thirty years of joy and marriage raising their children into adults they were truly proud of. He leaves behind two loving children, Ava White (Brad) & Gerald Williams, and their beautiful families. 2 brothers; David (Emma) Thompson, Samuel (Elaine) Thompson, 2 sisters; Dorothy Patton & Lula Thomas, 4 grand kids; special friend; Mr. Goldsby, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Going home celebration will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Services will be held at Salem United Methodist Church located at 402 West John Orange, Texas 77630. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM until time of service. Interment will be at the VA Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
