
Paul Anthony Jack “AJ” Lummus Jr., 19, from Bridge City, TX and current resident of Harrison, Arkansas died Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born September 24, 2001, at Galveston, Texas. AJ loved to spend time with his family, his sisters were his very best friends. AJ enjoyed playing video games, fishing with his dad, and watching movies with his brother-in-law, Jacob. AJ had just given his life to the Lord in April. He loved Jesus and loved telling people about Him. He never met a stranger and was a sweet, well-mannered, young man. AJ touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jason Boernson; grandfathers, Paul Wayne Lummus and Donnie Ray O’Briant.
Survivors include his parents; Tony and Holly Lummus of Bridge City, Texas; Sheryl Boernson of Harrison, Arkansas; his brothers and sisters, Kourtlin and Jacob Ricketts, Hailey Lummus, Emberlynn Wilhite, and Jayleigh-Kate Boernson, all of Harrison, Arkansas, Carmen and Grace Martinez of Bridge City, Texas, Hunter Boernson of Harrison, Arkansas; a niece and nephew, Porter and Teagan Ricketts of Harrison, Arkansas; grandparents, Bill and Rebecca Pastor of Harrison, Arkansas; Laura Gabriel of Longview, Texas, Mamie and Paul Johnson of Fred, Texas, Rhonda and Tommy Pulliam of Harrison, Arkansas; and Jeff Boernson of Harrison, Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 18th, 2021, at Cove Baptist Church 1005 Dupont Dr. Orange, TX 77630.
