This week local high school golf teams competed at Sunset Grove Country Club in the Bridge City Invitational. Orangefield’s Lincoln Parks shot a 71, to finish in the top spot ahead of Beaumont Kelly’s Jullian Mathews.
In the team category, PNG took home 1st place (321), 2nd place went to Beaumont Kelly (334), with the Orangefield team consisting of Lincoln Parks (71), Cole Sanches (86), Branden Greenway (87), Peyton Revia (91), Zane Wrinkle (93) taking the 3rd place spot (335). This Monday, local teams will be competing here in Sour Lake, at Idylwild Country Club.

The Lady Bobcat Girls’ Golf team competed at Silsbee a Country Club Wednesday. They shot a team total of 461. Leading the way was Lela Francis with a 106 (top 10 overall), Rilei Hass 112, Mollie Meyer 120, Parker Donnaud 123, and Blake Steele 124.
The Lady Bobcats will head to Bayou Din on Tuesday.
