The Parks Brothers were all smiles Thursday after they learned their 2022 golf season as an Orangefield Bobcat would be extended into May.
Xander Parks shot a 73, the low round of Day 2, giving him a two day total 150 and a second place finish at the 4A Reg. 3 Golf Tournament in Huntsville. That means a trip to the State Tournament May 9-10 at the Legends Course in Kingsland, just outside of Austin.
Brother Lincoln will also make the trip with a two day total 163 and a fifth place finish because Lake Belton and Palestine will be going to state as a team, allowing the younger Parks to move up. Orangefield as a team finished sixth. Other golfers from Orange County are listed below.
