UPDATE: Fire ruled as arson. Investigation continues. A fire that burned a church early Saturday morning is being called suspicious. The fire started just after 4am at 900 Lansing in West Orange, home of the West Orange Christian Church. The building suffered heavy damage. No one was reported to have been there at the time. Gates Opened At Toledo Bend (UPDATE)
UPDATE: On Tuesday, May 13, six of the gates were closed, leaving five gates opened at one foot. Because of the recent rains, especially north of Toledo Bend Lake, the Sabine River Authority on Saturday opened all 11 gates to one foot each and both generators are running for a total CFS of 24,470. Toledo Bend had reached 172.74 with full pool at 172. SRA releases water when it reaches 172.50. With the current release, the Sabine River at Deweyville is expected to reach 26ft. on May 11 according to NOAA.
