LU partners with GCI to expand industry training

Under the agreement, LU will host GCI’s industry-recognized courses on its Beaumont campus, beginning with the first session scheduled for Nov. 3–7, 2025. A smothering defense in the second-half propelled the Bridge City Cardinals to a 21-14 comeback victory over Orangefield on Friday night in the Bayou Bowl.Orangefield jumped out to an early 7-0 lead after a bad snap on a punt by Bridge City gave the Bobcats the ball at the Cardinals 33-yard line.
