The Bridge City Cardinals tied Lumberton for the best finish in Southeast Texas in this year's Lone Star Cup. The LSC honors the best overall athletic and academic programs in Texas. Both schools finished 25th in Class 4A. LCM was 36th, Vidor tied for 71st and WOS tied for 203. In Class 3A the Orangefield Bobcats finished tied for 38th.
