On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, officers with the City of Orange Police Department were dispatched to multiple locations within the city in response to reports of gunfire. Witnesses at various scenes reported seeing two Black males discharging firearms before fleeing the area in a white SUV. On May 21, 2025, following a months-long investigation into the October 15, 2024, officer involved shooting of Jeremy Culp, the Texas Rangers presented its findings to an Orange County Grand Jury. Then bass move to points and drains with Carolina rigs and jigs. Crappie are slowly moving to brush piles, with a better bite on the south end of the lake and Ash Bayou.
