A 29 year old man is in the Orange County Jail following a traffic stop. On Monday, July 7, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stopped a passenger vehicle after witnessing the driver commit a traffic violation. The deputy developed probable cause to believe the driver was involved in criminal activity and a search of the vehicle revealed 29 bundles of high-grade hydroponic marijuana, a 9mm handgun, U.S. currency, and other drug-related paraphernalia. On July 8, 2025, a joint investigation by the City of Orange Narcotic Division, the West Orange Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Division culminated in the execution of a search warrant at a residence located at #8 Circle C in Orange, Texas.
