Dupree, began another employment phase in his law career with the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Texas State Trooper, graduating from the 178th Recruit School in Austin, Texas on Friday, August 8, 2025. Orange County ESD 3 and 4 helped out Newton County with a trailer fire Monday morning. The trailer was fully involved when they arrived to County Road 4950 around 11am. Multi-Jurisdictional Sex Offender compliance check:On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, along with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies conducted a sex-offender compliance check throughout Newton County.
