Bobcats Sweep Diboll
The Bobcats were as hot as the day in Lufkin on Saturday as they defeated Diboll 5-0 to sweep the series. Pitching, by Kaleb Menard, hitting, bunting, running the bases, and defense were all on display for the (27-8) Bobcats. Menard threw a four hit shutout with 7K's and two walks. Bobcats Win 6-2
The Orangefield Bobcats opened their third round series with a 6-2 win over Diboll at Lamar's Vincent Beck Stadium Friday night. Starting pitcher Brycen Tait (10-1) put in a Yeoman's effort with a complete game performance while dealing with three stoppages for lightning delays.
