TS Beryl: 7pm Update
The 7pm predictions from the National Weather Service has once again moved TS Beryl's landfall slightly north of the last predicted location in Port Lavaca. The eye of the storm is currently headed for Bay City. NWS says a Tropical Storm Warning is now in effect for Jefferson, Hardin and Tyler counties until 3 AM Tuesday. At 4pm, the center of Tropical Storm Beryl was located near latitude 26.8 North, longitude 95.5 West. Beryl is moving toward the north-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h). This general motion is expected to continue through tonight, with a turn toward the north forecast on Monday.
