Jonathan Robert Draughn was born on October 12, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jonathan was the baby of four children and the prized baby boy. Early on in life, he developed a love for animals and the outdoors. Upon moving to Texas in 1986, this love of nature developed into fishing in every waterhole he could find in the neighborhood and nearby. Commercial Shrimp Season Open
The Gulf of Mexico commercial shrimp season for state and federal waters will reopen 30 minutes after sunset on Monday, July 15. Traffic on I-10 eastbound was closed for a couple of hours Sunday after a box truck turned over during a heavy rain. The accident happened between 16th Street and Simmons Drive. Traffic was diverted to the feeder road and fortunately the new on-ramp at Simmons was opened or traffic would've been stopped until the accident was cleared.
