Update: TCEQ has told the county they have been in the area as well as Eagle Railcar and their monitors did not detect anything. Therefore no shelter in place will be required. 1:15pm - Orange County officials say they are aware that the chemical smell is back in the WO area from calls they've received from citizens. On Thursday, August 1, 2024, the Bridge City Police Department assisted the Bridge City Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance Service with a burn victim in the 200 block of Meadow Drive. AT&T Store Robbed
About 6:45pm the AT&T store in West Orange was robbed at gunpoint by a female. West Orange Police said a black female in a blond wig with a Covid mask on, was at the store at the West Orange Plaza near Wal-Mart.
