Orange Woman Dies In Accident
A one vehicle accident Thursday on Port Arthur's Pleasure Island claimed the life of an Orange County woman. Police were called to the scene around 2pm after a vehicle was spotted on fire. Port Arthur Police believe that Betty Baham, 82, of Orange, may have had a medical emergency as she drove into some weeds after possibly trying to turn around in the road. The heat from under the car caught the tall weeds on fire which then spread to the vehicle. Day Two - Tough day for the Vidor team who only caught two fish for 5-6. They fell to 48th. Delk had a better day catching three for 6-11 and moved up to 107th. Day One of the 2024 Bassmaster High School National Championship is in the books. Vidor's Caden Williamson and Braden Norton are in 24th place with 3 fish at 10-11.
