On August 8, 2024, Pinehurst Police K-9 Officer Justin Brown conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a female, who was later identified as 46-year-old Taifa K. St. Julien. Logan Russell was awarded a Texas A&M Senior Merit Award in April 2024. The Senior Merit Award is the highest award given to seniors by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at A&M.
