On July 1st, 2024, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of an alleged criminal offense concerning Deputy Ken Bost who was assigned to the patrol division at the time of the complaint. The Orange County Criminal Investigations Division immediately began an investigation, subsequently contacting the Texas Ranger’s Beaumont Office. Once the investigation was complete, the findings were submitted to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Weekly Fishing Report Week of August 21, 2024 Sam RayburnGOOD. Water stained; 90 degrees; 1.88 feet above pool. Water is dropping, with no big changes to the summer pattern. Bass are slow in shallow water in brush with many smaller fish being caught on frogs, and spinnerbaits. Deeper bass bite is fair with Carolina rigs. Crappie are slow moving to and from the brush to timber. Catfish are all over the lake in 20 feet of water and in 12 feet of water in the creek channels.
