Ruth Stevens Fournier, 94, of Bridge City, passed away on February 23, 2015, at Sabine House in Orange. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Mark Bunch, Reverend Stephanie Hughes, and Brother Adam Nimitz. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25th at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Margie Fay Blacksher Haley, 78, of Orange passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Margie was a lifelong resident of Orange; born on February 26, 1936 to parents Hazel (Hoffpauir) and Shelby Mulhollan. She was a member of Church of Christ of Vidor. Margie enjoyed doing her Bible studies and was a member of Garden Club for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nora Juanita Schlicher, 88, of Orange passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was born on November 26, 1926 in Orangefield, Texas to parents Clara (Boudreaux) and Lawrence Sittig. She had lived most of her life in the Orangefield area and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Orange. Juanita enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. Tuesday the LCM Bears beat Coldspring 40-37 in bidistrict action. Cameron Parker led the Bears with 15 points and Andrew Daspit added 8. WOS Baseball Preview
