Last year firefighters from Orange County Emergency Services District #4 were battling a fire at J3 Metals in North Orange County with assistance from other departments including the Roganville Volunteer Fire Dept., a small community in Jasper County. OCESD 4 Chief Kelly Moore (right) noticed that Roganville had a tanker truck from the 1980's and he told Roganville Chief Mike Smith that if they could ever help them, they would be glad to. The Bridge City Cardinals won their second straight Bayou Bowl, beating Orangefield 28-7. With the victory the Cards improve to 3-0 and the Bobcats are now 1-2.
