As of Monday afternoon Orange County Road and Bridge Engineer Clark Slacum has good news for residents in the Bessie Heights Area of the county. Slacum reported construction crews have completed enough work to allow traffic on three bridges and reopen three roads in Bessie Heights. He did advise there are some final details to complete, but they should be able to wrap those up with the roads open to the public. Rollover Accident Sunday
At approximately 11:50am Sunday, there was a one vehicle crash on Highway 62 near FM 105 in Orange. A 2006 Toyota pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 62. The driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the roadway. As the vehicle traveled off the roadway to the right, the side of the pickup truck clipped a utility pole. The impact with the utility pole caused the vehicle to spin into a building and flip over onto its top.
