Cox Wins At Idylwild
The LCM Lady Bears Golf team wrapped up a windy day of golf by shooting a team total of 396 and placing 2nd overall at the Hardin Jefferson Idlywild Golf tournament. LCM's Lauren Cox and PNG's Karlei Hemler tied for first with a score of 74 (+2). Lauren Cox won the three hole playoff to take the 1st place medalist. Orange Police Weekend Briefs
A thief took advantage of a man defrosting his wife's SUV Friday morning in Greenway Park. Officer Logan Holland with the Orange Police Department reported the man had left the keys in a 2003 blue Ford Expedition as he warmed it up for his wife. When he looked out the window about 7 a.m., he noticed the Expedition was missing. Orange police also made three drug-related arrests during the weekend. Two Little Cypress-Mauriceville students placed in the recent Texas Alliance of Minority Engineers (TAME) competition. Sophomore Ashley Knight (left) took Second Place in Algebra II, Third Place in Chemistry and Second Place in Group Engineering Design Challenge. Trailblazer Visits BCMS
On February 8, 2016, students at Bridge City Middle School had the opportunity to experience science from one of TAME's traveling Trailblazers. Trailblazers are one-of-a-kind science museums-on-wheels.
