The traffic detour for the Rainbow Bridge between Bridge City and Port Arthur will begin Saturday, March 5, weather permitting. The detour will last until the current maintenance project on the bridge is completed and will allow for two lanes of traffic to travel from Port Arthur to Bridge City, while one lane of traffic from BC to PA across the Rainbow Bridge and one lane from BC to PA across the Veterans Bridge.
