UT Arlington freshman Alexus Henry of Bridge City has been honored as the Sun Belt Conference Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week for the inaugural week of the 2016 outdoor season. Henry won the high jump at the TCU Invitational with a mark of 5 feet, 10 inches (1.78 meters). Russell Hebert, 73, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, March 20, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of the area, he was born on November 11, 1942, in Port Arthur, to Emma LeBoeuf and Wilson Hebert.
