Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Parrish Cemetery. On Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 12:18 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a disturbance that occurred at a residence in the 9100 block of Stonewood Drive. The caller stated that two male subject were involved in a physical altercation. As Deputies arrived on scene, they observed a male subject, identified as 36 year old Anthony Flores, lying on the floor of the garage. International Paper has authorized a critical community need disaster relief grant to the American Red Cross in response to the recent flooding in the Texas gulf coast region. Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., the global packaging and paper company has18 facilities in Texas with 2,400 employees throughout the state. State Senator Robert Nichols was in Orange this week. Senator Nichols along with Congressman Brian Babin met with officials from the Sabine-Neches Waterway on Wednesday. Thursday he met at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center to review the recovery from last week’s flooding in Orange and Newton Counties.
