WO-S High School Career Center students win Precision Machine State Championship West Orange-Stark High School Career Center precision machine students Colby Hudson and Kade Wheat earned the top two positions, first and second place respectively, in the STATE Skills USA competition held in Corpus Christi recently. Hudson becomes the fifth WO-S High School Career Center State Champion. He also won Best of Show in the STATE Job Exhibits competition for the second consecutive year. Jumping For Joy
The students at Little Cypress Elementary recently took on the challenge to raise money for the American Heart Association by participating in the Jump Rope for Heart Program. Based on previous donations, Coach Karen Holmes set a goal for the school at $3,200. According to Principal Kayla Casey, “These students took that challenge seriously and with generous hearts, they not only met the $3,200 goal, but exceeded it by more than double.
