Vidor Man Arrested
Vidor police took Aaron Kyle Angelo into custody Friday afternoon for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle according to Vidor Chief of Police Dave Shows. The vehicle taken was a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck that was missing from the scene of a double murder last June in Vidor. Richard Glen Ames, age 84, and Edna Clary Phillips, age 85, were brutally killed in a home at 360 Timberlane on June 11. The truck was later recovered in Houston after it was involved in a one vehicle accident. DNA evidence was collected from the vehicle by the crime lab in Houston. 4-Car Pile Up Friday
A four-car pile-up on Interstate 10 eastbound near the state border Friday injured six people and sent four to hospitals in ambulances. One of the injured was driving a work truck and was hurt when a long metal pole went through the back windshield and hit him in the left side of the neck, according to a report by Orange Police Officer M.T.
