The thunderstorms avoided Beaumont long enough for the Lamar University football team to complete its second scrimmage of preseason camp Sunday evening at Provost Umphrey Stadium. Bridge City received good news and bad news this week regarding the color of the water citizens are using in their homes. The city is hoping to have more good news for its citizens in the next few weeks.
