Med Helicopter Transports One After Wreck
At approximately 7:30p.m. Thursday, the Texas Department of Public Safety received a report of a two vehicle crash on Highway 62 in Orange County. The crash occurred approximately one mile north of FM 105. A Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 62. A Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling northbound on Highway 62. West Orange police Thursday afternoon arrested 32-year-old man on a warrant for the aggravated robbery of Sally's Beauty Supply Wednesday morning. Assistant Police Chief Jesse Romero said citizens helped identify the suspect after kogt.com posted surveillance video recordings of the robbery Wednesday afternoon. Romero said Corey Duane Adams of Orange was arrested Thursday afternoon outside a store in Mauriceville. Police had obtained the arrest warrant and had been looking for Adams. About 25 persons attended the community focus group Thursday sponsored by the Orange County Economic Development Corporation (EDC). This was the second such strategic planning session this week for the EDC. OPD Looking For Female Suspect
Orange police are looking for a young woman in connection with a daytime burglary at a house in the 4300 block of Tulane Road. The resident was napping in a recliner and woke to find the burglar inside the den. The woman fled the house with several pieces of jewelry from a bedroom. The resident told police she had been working outside and came inside about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. She locked the door and laid down in the recliner.
