Traffic Stop Equals Two Arrests
On Sept. 26, Officers with the Orange Police Department Narcotics Division and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division initiated a traffic stop on a black Ford truck that pulled in at a home in the 2800 block of Elmira. The vehicle displayed two different license plates. A computer check of the vehicle’s identification number revealed the truck was reported stolen from Houston. Blanchard Honored For Play
Travon Blanchard, a 2013 WOS grad, was honored twice following his last game. He was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and the Nagurski Defensive Player of the Week as his Baylor Bears beat Oklahoma State 35-24 Saturday. Blanchard had 11 tackles and a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss. He also recorded one forced fumble, a fumble recover and a pass breakup to complete his night.
