Just four years after resurrecting the program, Southwestern clinched its first-ever Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship with a 20-7 victory over Trinity Saturday at Birkelbach Field. It also marked the program's first conference title since being crowned Texas Conference co-champions in 1946.
