Noel Enderle is showered with gifts after raising money for the less fortunate. Giving is definitely a part of the Christmas season. Tuesday the Commissioners Court recognized a young man whose generous gifts have provided happiness for many other young people. Nole Enderle is 9-years old and attends Pine Forest Elementary School. Orange Council Holds Meeting
Curbside recycling may not be an option in Orange, but the city could take steps to help the community recycle, Sandra Hoke told the Orange City Council Tuesday. "Recycling is taking care of the Earth. It's being good stewards," said Hoke, a community volunteer and retired teacher. Bridge City and Liberty are small towns that provide recycling opportunities for their communities and Orange should be able to do similar projects, she said. Bears Riding 3 Game Win Streak
Entering the playoffs the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears are on a three-game winning streak. Coach Randy Crouch sites the turnaround starting in Week 3. Following the loss to West Orange-Stark, Crouch and the coaches made changes to put the Spread back in as the Bears’ offense. Starting with the Hardin-Jefferson game LC-M has passed for over 1600 yards and rushed for about 2,000 yards in eight games. Crouch credits the coaches for implementing the new offense and the players for executing it so effectively.
