The Orange Historical Preservation Commission on Tuesday will review requests to demolish two houses, including one that the city staff says "could be repaired economically." The houses are at 1212 West Cherry Avenue and 1107 North Third Street. Last month, the owner of the house on Third Street asked for time to repair it to meet code. Life Skills Selling Cheese Logs
The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Life Skills class sells cheese logs each year to help fund the programs in which they participate throughout the year. For many in the community, it isn’t Christmas until the cheese logs are delivered. The group sells Cheddar and Jalapeno logs for $7.00 each. Arrest Made In Armed Robbery
On November 20, 2016 Orange Police Department officers investigated the Aggravated Robbery of Crawdads, 4080 IH-10. During the robbery a black male used a handgun to threaten the store employee and steal money. Through Crime Stoppers and other tips the subject in the robbery was identified as 29 year old Junies Nathaniel “Nate” Tims. On November 23, 2016 Detective C.
