Bridge City Applies For Grant
Bridge City will be applying for a $275,000 grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture. The City Council approved a resolution Tuesday that authorizes the city to apply for the Texas Community Development Block Grant. City Manager Jerry Jones said Bridge City will use the grant money to rehabilitate sewer lines for low to moderate income residents. The city will prequalify applicants for the work to be done on their residences.
