A Roselawn man checking a noise outside was shot in the chest with a BB gun early Tuesday morning. Orange police said the man had a small abrasion wound but he did not seek medical attention. It was the third time a BB or pellet gun has been used on Camellia Street during the past few days. In one, a parked car had shattered driver's window caused by the puncture. Firefighters were called to a house fire at 2299 Alvin in the Forest Heights Subdivision off of Hwy. 87 North Wednesday afternoon. BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University Cardinals signed 15 high school standouts to National Letters of Intent, and added five transfers (three junior college and two FBS) announced first-year head coach Mike Schultz at a press conference in the Dauphin Athletics Complex Wednesday afternoon.
