One Dead Following Accident
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on state Highway 62, south of Circle C Ranch Road, that occurred today, November 7, 2024. The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 7:57 a.m., a Kia Soul was traveling north and reportedly crossed over into the oncoming lane and struck two trucks which were traveling south. LSCO Opens Academic Building
Lamar State College Orange hosted a grand opening ceremony for the newly constructed Academic Building on Wednesday, November 6 at the campus in downtown Orange. The 55,000 square foot, $38 million dollar facility is the largest space on campus and houses 8 state of the art labs, 8 classrooms, 2 computer labs, student commons areas, faculty and information technology offices.
