Orange County Commissioners learned Tuesday that Golden Triangle Polymers Company has spent more than $355 million on local goods and services since the project was announced. Heather Betancourth with GTPC presented the third quarter report and told the court that almost 4500 people are working at the plant site on Hwy. 87 South across from the Orange County Airport. Phoenix Announces Retirement
The Orange County Sheriff's Office appeared at the Orange County Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday and announced the retirement of K-9 Phoenix. Chief Deputy Mark Dubois announced the retirement following a leg injury that would keep Phoenix from doing his job properly.
