Around 12 noon on Monday, OCESD #1 was dispatched to a “fully involved” RV fire at the end of Faye St. in Vidor. Rescue 1, Tanker 1 and Utility 1 responded with a total of six firefighters. LCM Battlin' Bear Football and Baseball joined teams with the Orange Salvation Army to help over 50 Children receive gifts this Christmas. The Battlin' Bears Participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Project for the 3rd year in a row. This year the Bears were able to raise over $2,000 and buy gifts for over 50 angels. A single day record 1,483 people visited the Stark Museum of Art on Saturday for Reindeer Games in downtown Orange. With free admission, families were able to visit Santa’s traveling stable to see live reindeer in the courtyard.
