Thursday night, the district round of the Stark Reading Contest took place for OHS. In Declamation, the second place winner, earning a $2,000 scholarship was Naomi Madrid. Taking first place, earning $2,500 and advancing to the county round was Tessa Bailey. In Interpretive Reading, the second place winner, earning a $2,000 scholarship was Emmerson Rodriguez.
