Three Arrested After Robbery

On Monday, January 27th, 2025, at 6:07 PM, officers with the City of Orange Police Department were dispatched to 3333 Ridgemont Drive in reference to an aggravated robbery.  Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and learned that his Dodge Challenger had been taken.  Officers learned that one of three black male suspects pointed a handgun at the victim, demanded the keys, and was threatened to be shot.  Later in the evening, officers located the victim’s vehicle, and a short pursuit took place.  Three males fled on foot with one 16-year-old juvenile being apprehended.  During the … [Read more...] about Three Arrested After Robbery

Timothy A. Parker, age 53, of Orange, Texas, passed away in Orange, Texas on Sunday, January 19, 2025.  Arrangements were made under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home. On Monday, October 4, 1971, Timothy was born to parents Brenda Parker Dyer and Gaylon H. Parker, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  Tim loved fishing and his three pups Zena, Sascha and Piphere. The City of Orange has announced 17 buildings that will be demolished as the city continues to improve areas by removing eyesores. Kelvin Knauf, Director of Planning and Community Development, says that they have paid to demolish some 250 buildings in the last 10 years. The following are on the next hit list after bids were accepted by council. An Orange County matchup between LCM and Vidor Tuesday saw the Pirates take home the road win 54-37. A close game at the half, Vidor scored the first 11 points in the third to open it up.
