Valerie Gene Wallace Williams, 72, of Vidor, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor, and a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vidor, TX, and a woman of deep faith who lived her life serving others. Valerie retired after 30 years of service with Vidor Independent School District, where she touched countless young lives at Pine Forest Elementary. BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University allowed just three points in the second half to No. 4 South Dakota defeating the Coyotes, 20-13, Saturday evening in its 2025 home opener.
