The Orange City Council approved a resolution of support for a new Senior Affordable Housing Complex at Tuesday's meeting. Orange Trails, a 63 unit, two story development, would be built and owned by Trinity Housing Development. They've built other locations around Texas. On Tuesday, local golf teams competed in the Vidor Varsity Boys Invitational, which was held at Brentwood Country Club of Texas, in Beaumont. Orangefield's Lincoln Parks finished in the runner up spot, shooting a 1 under par 71. In the team standings, Hardin-Jefferson and Beaumont Kelly finished in the top 2 spots with a team total of 312, followed by Orangefield finishing 3rd, with a team total 331.
