Robert and Sherry Stalnaker from the Creole Krewe were revealed as the 2025 King and Queen of Silver Foxes by the outgoing King and Queen Jerry and Susan Pennington. A Vidor convicted felon has been sentenced to federal prison for a firearms violation in the Eastern District of Texas, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Abe McGlothin, Jr. Dennis Lee Kelley, 32, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone on February 7, 2025. According to information presented in court, on July 27, 2023, Kelley was arrested near Hwy 105 in Beaumont pursuant to an active warrant for a parole violation. Texas Tech has announced that James Blanchard will be back in Lubbock as the General Manager of the Red Raiders with a new three year contract. The 2008 WOS grad was being wooed by Notre Dame after the Fighting Irish reached the National Championship game and then lost their GM to USC.
