Robert Charles (Red) Ballast died on January 20, 2025, at the age of 81 in Pototan, Philippines.  He was born on January 7, 1944, in Bleakwood, Texas to Dirk and Lillie Ballast.  He grew up in Nederland and Buna, and served in the United States Coastguard. Bonnie Lou Kendall, 66, of Vidor, Texas passed away February 6th, 2025 at Baptist hospital surrounded by family. Bonnie was born in Plainville, Kansas to Wade Allen Rozean and Laura Lee Rozean. Bonnie was very ill and fought hard for a month before she succumbed to her illness. Bonnie was a housekeeper and absolutely loved the people she cleaned for.
