The Deep East Texas High School Series had a tournament this weekend and LCM's Brendan Gallier did not need a partner to win Saturday. Gallier turned in 27.74 for the victory. After speaking with him, deputies were able to clear up a couple of cases they have been working and then turned him over to Orange County. Riley Harris of Bridge City weighed in a 30-9 bag on Day 3 to capture the MLF Southwestern Division event on Sam Rayburn with a whopping 82-10 total and a check for $29,930. Lee Roy Ward, 89, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at Riceland Medical Center in Winnie, Texas. LCM went 4-0 in the Jarrell Tournament and ended with an 7-0 win over Lago Vista Saturday. Parker Seago got the win (6K in 5innings) and also tripled and drove in a run. Jacob Scheiderer and Parker Freeman also drove in two runs each. The Bridge City Cardinals wrapped up the Jasper Tournament with a 13-0 (4 inning) win over Livingston.
