The Recovery Council of Southeast Texas held a ribbon cutting Friday at their new location on Bowling Lane in Orange. The Council began in 1958, to provide education and treatment services, to individuals afflicted with alcohol problems, and their families. With the escalation of drug abuse, these services were expanded to include treatment for chemical dependency. Landry struck out six in three inning with no walks and also doubled in two at the plate. Hunter Ford had two hits and Dax Latiolas drove in three with a double. On Thursday, local golf teams competed in the Lumberton Invitational, which was held at Henry Homberg, in Beaumont. Lincoln Parks fired a 3 under 69, to finish in the top spot.
