The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate Highway 10, near the 880-mile marker, that occurred Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 2 p.m., a Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling west. It is reported that for an unknown reason at this time, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck the right side of the truck tractor and impacted the concrete barrier. The Oak Creek neighborhood in Orange had some excitement Wednesday as two calves found their way into the neighborhood. Orange Police and Animal Control were brought in and after some time they were able to coral the animals. Amazingly enough they made it to the Meeks Drive neighborhood from the Echo area.
