The man killed in an accident on Highway 62 on March 20 has been identified. Texas DPS reported that at approximately 9:55 a.m., a Peterbilt truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling south on S.H. 62. It is reported that a Buick Enclave with Mississippi plates pulled from Waterwood Drive and was struck on its driver side. The LCM golf team won the 18-4A District Title Thursday. Lead by a second place finish by Manuel Maddox, the team included Landon Richards, Braden Wilson, Keaton Jones, and Luke Levens. BC Opens New CTE Building
Tuesday was a special day for the Bridge City ISD as they held a ribbon cutting for their new Career and Technology Education Building on the high school campus. Superintendent Mike Kelly said the building is 45,000 square feet and it was made possible by the voters pushing a bond issue through in May 2022. The facility is filled with equipment and learning spaces, all designed to give students hands-on experiences and set them up for success in their chosen careers.
